We enjoy and appreciate seeing you at the theatre, but ticket sales account for only 50% of our revenue. You can help 1st Stage today by donating supplies and equipment you may have laying around your house. We can provide a comfortable home for items you may be looking to donate. All in-kind donations are fully tax deductible. If you have one of the items below that you’d like to donate, please contact Emily Wall to arrange the donation.

- Cell phones (preferably smart phones for use in our contemporary productions)

Production Needs
1st stage will occasionally put out a call for various items we need to make our productions possible. We might ask for anything from cardboard boxes to desk chairs. In-kind donations are fully tax deductible, so join our mailing list below or stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter feeds for updates on materials we need.
Usher
While 1st Stage offers general admission seating, patrons often need help finding restrooms, answering questions, and with special seating arrangements.
Concessions
1st Stage offers light refreshments at our concession stand at each performance. The concession position is responsible for monitoring the cash concessions bar. Ushers and concession stand volunteers are expected to arrive at the theatre 60 minutes before the start of the performance. In exchange for your help, you are invited to attend the performance (for which you work) as our guest. 1st Stage does not require particular dress of our volunteers. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable at the theatre.
